FAQ

Honest
Answers.

No corporate non-answers. No ambiguity. Just the truth about how we work.

How long does a commission take?

Six to ten weeks from design approval to delivery. Complex pieces with intricate setting or multiple stones may take up to fourteen weeks. We will tell you the realistic timescale before you commit to anything.

What does a commission cost?

Our commissions start from £2,500 for a single-stone ring in 18ct gold. Most engagement ring commissions fall between £4,000 and £12,000 depending on the stone and complexity. We are transparent about pricing from the first conversation.

Do you work with stones I already own?

Yes. Resetting inherited or existing stones is one of our most common commissions. We will assess the stone first and advise honestly on whether and how it can be set safely.

Can I see the stone before you set it?

Always. We present stones in person before any metalwork begins. You choose the stone you want — we never select one without your approval.

What is included in the lifetime guarantee?

Annual cleaning and inspection, re-polishing, claw tightening and prong checking — all free of charge for the lifetime of the piece. If something we made fails through a fault in our workmanship, we repair or replace it. No questions asked.

Do you make wedding bands to match an existing ring?

Yes. Matched bands — including fitted bands that sit flush against an engagement ring — are something we do regularly. Bring the ring in and we will design around it.
